About Me

Hi! I’m Michael Morrow, a third-year graduate student in the Mathematics Department at the University of Kentucky. I’m focused on Computational Commutative Algebra under the supervision of Dr. Uwe Nagel. Currently, I’m interested in the computation of syzygies of OI-modules over Noetherian polynomial OI-algebras. See this paper for an introduction to the topic. I obtained my B.S. in Mathematics from Central Washington University in 2019, and my M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Kentucky in 2021. My hobbies include chess, cooking, cycling, guitar, coding, camping, beer brewing, and coffee roasting.
